Long Eared owls



Long eared owls are possibly the most difficult of the British owls to locate and photograph, typically found on areas of moorland especially where a bordering woodland provides cover for roosting and nesting. These birds in the North of England have become habituated to photographers and at the right of time of day and year can be seen hunting and resting up in broad daylight.
